We at FreeChurchWebsites.org believe that those who dedicate their lives to serving the Lord God, teaching others about God, Jesus Christ and/or religious history, proselytizing and/or religious service ministries should not have to pay for a website. Being in that the internet literally connects billions of people across the world, it is imperative in this day and age that every church and religious organization that is serious about growing its congregation and teaching people about the ways of God and Jesus Christ to have a presence on the world wide web.
Never before in the earth's history has a single person been able to reach out to so many others regardless of that individual's location or proximity to population centers. Anyone, anywhere can start a website that reaches millions upon millions of people. Unfortunately, churches have been painfully slow to adapt, with many if not most burying the development of a web presence far enough down the list of priorities that realistically will never happen unless someone in the church's local congregation with the knowledge, skill and time to build the church a site volunteers to do so at no cost to the church. Unfortunately, for many churches, this day never arrives.

This percentage may vary slightly, but is generally in the neighborhood of 5%-8% of the gross revenues generated from PPC (pay-per-click) advertising programs and affiliate programs such as Amazon Associates. We do not keep a percentage of donations made to the church through the website, and do not keep any revenue from any other website monetization methods other than those described here.
What if I Don't Want Ads on My Site?
You are free to choose not to place advertisements on your site. The site belongs to the church for whom it was built, and that church is free to do with the site anything within the parameters of the law. FreeChurchWebsites.org will respect your decision should you choose to not monetize your website. We strongly encourage all participating churches to opt-in to the advertising programs available, however doing so is not mandatory. Opting-in is the only way to ensure your church's website acts as a vehicle to help raise money for the church, and we reserve the right to take a percentage not to exceed 10% of all gross advertising revenues from those sites who do decide to participate. Since sites that do not participate will not raise any money for their own church through the website, we obviously cannot take a percentage of nothing.
